I was most hurt when. . . .

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”  I know that many of us experience first loves and followed by heartbreaks. These combinations of happiness, excitement, and sadness are feelings that are very common to us teenagers who are still in the stage of puberty. It is an uncontrollable feeling that your heart can’t resist once you’ve started feeling it and sometimes when everything is over it will leave you teary eyes and a broken heart.

Just like a normal teenager, I have dreamt of fairytales and happy endings but in my story it didn’t end happy, a complete opposite of fairytales that I always dreamed. If someone will ask me when was I most hurt? It’s when I experience first heartbreak.  In the age of 16, I fell in love, I experience love and was broken by love. An experience I cannot forget until now. It’s been a year since then but the feelings are still there, still haunting me sometimes when I’m about to close my eyes and sleep.

Love gave me many happy memories but it also gave me a lot painful memories too, a lot that sometimes I forgot that I also experienced the happy ones. It is true that loving someone will make you vulnerable but it’s also a very nice experience in life, an experience that’s worth taking the risk and an experience that will mold you into a strong person. I’ll never regret having such experience because despite all the pain, I’ve also experience happiness which is priceless.

My Summer 2012

This summer, I'd been in new places and experienced new things. We went to Maasin City, Southern Leyte to visit our relatives that we have never seen for years. We spent 3 weeks there and went to awesome places.

We went to. .

Canigao Island
- located at Matalom Leyte, 40 minutes departure from Maasin City.

The Island.

My sister walking in the white sand of Canigao Island.

At the back of the Island.

Star fishes are everywhere, different colors and sizes.

The view of the sunset was really beautiful.

~~~~~♥~~~~~
Mama Mary Shrine
-Located in Maasin City
The big statue of Mama Mary.
You can see a good view of the city from above.
~~~~~♥~~~~~

Monte Cueva Shrine
-located also in Maasin City, the shrine is in in the mountain peak so it takes a long walk compared to the Mama Mary Shrine.

It is called Monte Cueva because there is a cave in the top of the mountain and a chapel inside of it.

Me and my sister with the statue of Mama Mary in back.

~~~~~♥~~~~~
Banahaw Inland Resort
-It was during the celebration of my cousin's 3rd birthday.
My bad because I forgot the exact location.
The water is so clear and cold, they called it "tubod" or spring.
I had so much fun swimming and diving.
 It's more fun in the Philippines. :)
~~~~~♥~~~~~

Agas-Agas Bridge
-It is the tallest bridge in the Philippines. Located in Sogod, Southern Leyte.

See how tall it is? My knees trembled when i took this picture.

Zipline. Only brave people can do it.

"Say Cheese"

This summer gave me many happy memories to remember and to treasure. I had so much fun, thanks to my relatives who took good care of us and to those people who treated us very well.

Anine hearts you all.

Switch Girl

 The story revolves around a girl named Tamiya Nika, a charismatic highschool girl and very popular in their school. In school, she’s in her “switch on” mode, a fashionable and a cute girl and whom everyone admires. But the truth is she hides her true self, she has an opposite persona or the “switch off” mode whenever she’s in their house and in the market.  Her personality is completely different from what she is in school; she’s scary, sloppy, always wearing glasses and sweatsuit and has an unattractive hairstyle. Aside from her family, the only one who knows her secret is Nino, her friend since elementary and knows a lot about her.

In the market, when Nika buys cucumber she meet Kamiyama Arata, a guy with old fashioned glasses and start talking with him in her way to the apartment building which is also Arata’s apartment too.

             In school, the new transfer student is being bullied by a gang of girls and Nika came to save him and they run and head to the rooftop.  The guy easily recognizes Nika as the cucumber girl and finds out about Nika’s switch on and off mode.
Nika take off Arata’s glasses and finds out too that Arata is also has a switch personality, and recognizes him as the same handsome but arrogant guy she met at the rooftop the other day.

He appears to be a nerd guy in school but when he’s in house he takes off his glasses.  Nika is afraid that Arata might leak her secret but Arata didn’t because Nika also knew about his.

Accidentally, they meet again in the grocery along with Nika’s mother and sister. They mistakenly think that Arata is Nika’s boyfriend, so they invite him to go dinner with them and Arata agree because he wants to eat a homemade meal that he hadn’t had in a long time.

Arata stay at Nika’s room and notice how messy it is.

Nika asks why he needs to hide his true self and Arata answers honestly. He says that as long as he live with his glasses on, no one will get close to him and no one will ber interested in him and it will make his life easier. While they’re alone together, Nika can’t help herself to look how admirable and handsome Arata is. Her heart beats so fast and starts to like him.
After dinner, Nika escort Arata to the elevator.  Arata give thanks to Nika and for the dinner and Nika says that he can come to her house to eat dinner again if he feel lonely eating alone. That night, Nika can’t sleep thinking about Arata.

As the story goes, Nika and Arata will become closer because of some happenings in the future and a relationship between them will develop.
